The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Ohimini local government area,  Mr Boniface Okoloho, is dead. Reports have it that Boniface was ambushed and shot dead by unknown gunmen. The report has been confirmed by Moses Yamu, spokesman of the police command. His words, “I can confirm the APC chairman in the area was killed. He was killed by unknown gunmen in the night yesterday. “We have commenced investigation immediately” , he said.

Some Leaders of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Ondo State, have said that they will not accept the decision of the National Working Committee, NWC, of the party, which cleared Senator Ajayi Borofice, Senator Tayo Alasoadura, and Senator Yemi Omogunwa, in the State, to fly the party’s flag in the 2019 general elections. The Leaders, at a Press Conference, held at the NUJ Press Centre, in Alagbaka, Akure, on Wednesday, also called for the resignation of the party’s Chairman, Adams Oshiomhole, saying that, “he is unfit, lacks the capacity and wisdom to lead the party.” Speaking on behalf of the party, Senator Alasodura, who represents Ondo Central, said that they are giving the NWC 24-hours to reverse the decision, or else they will take action. Alasoadura stated that the party’s National Executives and Leaders, should come in and ensure that those candidates screened out after paying about N8 million to purchase forms, are given equal opportuni...
