A combined team of anti-vandals, armed squad of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Kogi State Command have arrested seven suspects for allegedly siphoning and trading diesel meant for Dangote Cement Company, Obajana. The suspects were caught selling diesels from their trucks to illegal dealers. The seven suspects, who were paraded by the Kogi State Commandant Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corp (NSCDC), Commandant Ayodele Philip, were arrested in Osara Adavi Local Government area as they made attempt to evade arrest but were quickly overpowered by the gallant men of the NSCDC, who had placed them on surveillance for weeks. Commandant Ayodele told newsmen that one of the suspects, who drove one of the trucks with registration number TWD 212 XA, was arrested while siphoning diesels into two 25 litres jericans alongside two of his motor boys.
