WAEC: Fayose reacts to Buhari’s results attestation, tells Nigerians what to do

The past governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose has reacted to issuance of the attestation of school result from the West African Examination Council, WAEC to President Muhammadu Buhari. Recall that Buhari had been under attack after he failed to submit his credentials to the Independent National Electoral Commission ahead of the 2019 elections. Buhari only submitted an affidavit wherein he claimed that his credentials were with the Secretary to the Military Board. However,  Buhari on Friday received the attestation his school results  from the West African Examination Council, WAEC, and displayed it online to Nigerians. This, however, did not douse doubts surrounding the certificate saga as some Nigerians queried the authenticity of the attestation. As the 2019 general elections gradually approach, the various candidates vying for different elective positions have submitted their credentials. The various candidates’ credentials were made available to journalists on Thursday. In the affidavit which he swore to, Buhari said ,  “I am the above named person and the deponent of this affidavit herein. All my academic qualification documents as filled in my Presidential form , APC/ 001 / 2015 are currently with the Secretary of the Military Board as of the time of this affidavit.” Now, Reno Omokri a former presidential aide, has reacted to Buhari's claims. WAEC certificate: Dino Melaye mocks Buhari

The Senator representing Kogi West Senatorial District, Dino Melaye, has mocked President Muhammadu Buhari over the lingering issue of his WAEC certificate. President Buhari, who is the standard bearer of the All Progressives Congress, APC, failed to submit his credentials to the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC on Wednesday. It was reported earlier that the various candidates’ credentials were made available to reporters in Abuja on Thursday and President Buhari only submitted an affidavit where he claimed that his credentials were with the Secretary of the Military Board. In his affidavit to the electoral umpire, Buhari explained, “I am the above-named person and the deponent of this affidavit herein. The Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU), the research unit of The Economist Magazine, has predicted that the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, will defeat President Muhammadu Buhari of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2019 presidential election. This prediction is coming as the Governor of Kogi State, Mr. Yahaya Bello, on Wednesday night in Abuja, told President Buhari and the APC that the PDP “will not be a push over” in the general elections. The Economist’s forecast came less than two months after it had earlier predicted that Buhari would lose the election. President Buhari To Visit Lagos Tuesday

President Muhammadu Buhari and his Republic of Benin counterpart, Patrice Talon, are scheduled to perform the official hand-over of the new Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) Border Posts at Seme-Krake and Neope-Akanu in Badagry on Tuesday. In a statement yesterday, the Lagos State Government said all necessary arrangements to ensure a hitch-free unveiling ceremony had been concluded. Buhari would be accompanied to the venue by Governor Akinwunmi Ambode. “Already, all necessary security and logistic arrangements have been firmed up by the state government, in partnership with relevant federal government agencies. “To this effect, the Lagos State government is soliciting the usual support and cooperation of residents throughout the visit,” Ambode’s Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Habib Haruna said in the statement.
