Senator representing Kogi west, Dino Melaye has joined the race to be the next governor of Kogi state.
Melaye will be contesting for the governorship ticket under the People's Democratic Party (PDP)

The Kogi State University, Ayingba yesterday concluded her SUG elections with various candidates emerging as winners. A total number of 650 delegates from various faculties partook in the voting process.  Iko-ojo Dominic emerged as the SUG President while Simon Thomas Attah emerged as the Vice President.
